Sakura in Oxford

Sakura! I miss you.
Due to the earthquake, even I was in Tokyo in March, I did not have the chance to visit the Sakura park. This is the only one tree by the roadside, it belongs to a local temple.
By the way, is this Sakura too? ( shocking pink Sakura tree?)

back to Singapore

Coming back from the disasters of Japan recently, it does make one see thing differently.
Such complicated feelings make me go easy on life. I no longer rush to work, to class, to do my normal routines, even to dance........
Until this morning I sang this wonderful song during my bsf lesson -- Great is thy faithfulness!

My quilt party

My first quilt party held on the 8th0f March.We started around noon . Only three ladys attended. My both sisters and my church friend , chui zhen. Although three only but we all had fun, we learnt a lot :- how to handle a electric sewing machine; how to change needle;shared some useful techniques....etc .We all watched youtube together, learned from them how to do - fast n easy Pinwheels patchwork.
We also shared different ideas, different ways of sewing matter, we chit chat a lot too. I am looking forward to meet them again, to sew more n more ..........different patchworks.

My trip to Hokkaido

It was a fun, enjoyable trip to travel, we join the ANA Holiday, Hokkaido Delights. Nice food with comfortable hotel accommodation, the program was interesting too.
But the earthquake incident affect our mood; worried us:-very mixed feeling.
Myself, I admired the spirit of Japanese-after such big disaster, I didn't see people fighting for food, drinks and essential at all. I pray to God , looking after the people there. Amen!

the earthquake___the tsunami___the nuclear power

11/03/2011, Japan Earthquake___8.9-magnitude earthquake. I was in the air on my way to Hokkaido. So was such lucky, the whole disaster I didn't feel the impact at all.
Followed by the tsunami(30 ft high), it hit Japan north east coast badly.In the fishing port of Miyako:-boats and ships were overturned, cars and houses being dragged away, cities and streets were swept by the sea water, caused a lot of damage and lost of life.
At the same time, the nuclear power plants also cause a lot of problem, created a lot
of fear for the radiation.
Almighty God!please take care of Japanese nation, keep them strong, safe and peace in their mind.
Tokyo, which my daughter, Tze Ying and Daniel (son in law) still working there, May God protect them too, Amen!

the month make me feel a lot..........

This 3rd month of the year, March, is a confusion month to me. I gained a lot of new life experience,good and bad,happy and sad, but end up with a lot of confusion feeling.
Thank you God looking after me, hearing my each prayer.First a safe trip to the North Japan, Hokkaido.End up another safe trip back home,Singapore.
At first, We all having good time , having fun together.
But trip to Hokkaido,it add up earthquake, tsunami, unclear power failure, volcano expose........so much helpen helpen, make me feel a lot : happy! sad! fear! confusion! faith! trust!......etc

My heavy schedule

Here I want to thank you God for making me a happy person, always have things to do. Since young till now, still have lots of interest, enjoy house works or chatting with children ocassionally, meeting friends and sometime enjoy shopping .......etc. I always find time not enough. Such as: Monday, go in to tupperware office for work; Tuesday, house works or doing homework(for self study); Wednesday, bible study(bsf) ; Thursday, self discussion group(wbs) ; Friday, linedance lesson; Saturday, meeting tw downlines n do replacement , night event- linedance jam session; Sunday, Church service and visiting mother-in-law. One whole week fully occupate.

wow!Yes, busy, but I'm very pleased.
